Strengthening Digital Transformation at the Grassroots: UDAP-GovNet Regional Engagement Reaches Lamwo District

Lamwo, Uganda – The Uganda Digital Acceleration Project (UDAP-GovNet) has marked another milestone with the 3rd Regional Leadership Engagement, currently taking place at the Lamwo District Headquarters.

This critical engagement brings together district leadership, police representatives, settlement commanders, and a host of key stakeholders. The objective is to raise awareness about the UDAP-GovNet initiative, foster collaboration, and identify influential champions who will spearhead digital transformation efforts at the grassroots level.

As part of the Government of Uganda’s broader digital agenda, spearheaded by the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance, the event seeks to strengthen alignment and shared ownership of the project across all levels of governance and community leadership.

The discussions underway aim to generate actionable insights, reinforce partnerships, and catalyze local initiatives that will accelerate Uganda’s digital future, especially in underserved and rural regions.
