Electronic Signatures Regulations 2013 - SI 43 of 2013

The purpose of the Regulations is to operationalize the Electronic Signatures Act (ESA). The Regulations provide further detail to the Electronic Signatures Act (ESA) with regard to licensing and recognition of Certification Service Providers (CSPs); providers of Repository Services and Date and Time Stamp Services. They also set out the roles, responsibilities and obligations of the various service providers and players in the e-signatures environment; provide for handling of complaints and resolution of disputes that may arise between the players and lay down offences and penalties for failing to adhere to the Regulations.
