Mr. Michael Ocero holds a Masters Degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Business Computing Degree from Makerere University in Uganda. He also holds accreditation with specific Information Technology Brands.

He presently serves as the Acting Commissioner I.T Department at the Ministry of I.C.T and National Guidance where he is responsible for evolving and overseeing implementation of Policies, Laws and Regulations regarding Information Technology.
Previously, he worked as a Systems Engineer and Principal Network Administrator in the Private Sector and as a Tutor at the Uganda Institute of Information Technology.
Michael also has experience in the management and deployment of Information technology solutions ranging from e-commerce to Network Infrastructure projects
